Puerto del Carmen, formerly an introspective fishing village, has developed due to it`s long white beaches, located west of the urbanisation. But still nowadays you can buy fresh fish for little money at the small fishing harbour near the pier or in several shops. Fresh fish is also offered in many restaurants. Both main beaches, Playa Blanca and the wide Playa de los Pocillos with fine, clear sand offer you pure bathing pleasure, almost even possible for little children. Furthermore windsurfers will enjoy pretty good and constant conditions when trade winds arise.
The four approx. 50m² apartments are part of the “Los Gofiones” estate, located centrally in the western quarter of Puerto del Carmen, known as a quiet residential area and accessible only for pedestrians. However, within near distance parking lots are provided. By the way: The lane is named after a canary folkloric music group called “Agrapacion Los Gofiones”.
The 1-bedroom apartments in the the first floor offer a south view balcony. All units contain a livingroom with enclosed completely equipped kitchen, a bedroom and a bath room with a vestibule. Livingroom and bedroom are located to the south side. The livingroom provides direct access to the balcony.
Several shopping opportunities are very close.The wide sandy beach Playa Blanca with it`s promenade, the small harbour and boule ground, fish shops and taperias, a number of restaurants, tour and leasure time opportunities (like submarine, jetski, boat trips, diving and much more), recreation zone – all this is easy to reach within a few minutes walk. Sport-lovers will find additionally the sporting center “Los Fariones” that offers a well kept tennis and squash court as well as an outdoor swimming pool.
The apartments are completely equipped and contain a safe, a washing machine and as well a TV that enables you receiving approx. 40 different TV programs by ASTRA-SAT.
On special request Ms Kim-Geitner will reserve a car for rent at one of the most known car rentals in the canaries, Cabrera-Medina. An Opel Corsa for example is available for a special price of only € 126,- a week (rates may change) - taxes, full insurance and no km limit included. Your car is awaiting you then at the Arrecife airport right after your landing. We will pass on your request in case of interest, accompanied by your booking.
Note: When handing over the car the car rental will charge you directly, a credit card is required.
The hire charge for one of the Los Gofiones apartments is € 273,- a week, valid for 2 persons. Bedclothes, towels and bathtowels are included as well as final cleaning! We ask you for a partial payment of 20% of the total rental fee after having received our confirmation, the balance will be due three weeks before starting the journey.
